Sites:

The project is unique in Bulgaria. The depot is situated on 238 dka and the body of the depot takes up 196 dka.
156 dka were covered with old wastes with total volume of 1 500 000 cubic meters. All the old wastes have been
moved to the newly constructed cells, which meet all state-of-the-art requirements. The capacity of the depot is
3 500 000 cubic meters which means it will be capable of holding the wastes of the city of Plovdiv until year 2020.
The construction has been in phases. All the stages of the cell construction have been finished and accepted
according to the normative requirements.

The SHHW Elhovo has included the following stages: Construction of a drainage system, roads, water conduit,
spraying system and a commerical scale; Construction of a deplyment cell with a total area of 17 dka; Welding of
geo-textile and geo-membrane; Execution of vertical panning on site; Construction of a system for waste water
drainage and surface water drainage;
